Borrowed Words

From the brilliant and observant mind of

"We write to taste life twice...

in the moment

and in retrospect."

"The role of the writer is not to say what

we can all say

but what

we are unable to say."

Each friend represents a world in us

a world possibly not born

until they arrive

and it is only by this meeting that a new world it born."

I am off to savor the new worlds that

YOU my friends

have opened up to me.

I will be back soon.

You've Got a Phone Call

This unquenchable thirst of mine

has finally found its sunset

that CALLS OUT from afar

then sail away

 towards a bottomless well

of gratifying refreshment.

But I cry

"I have no craft capable enough to take me

the distance."

"It's not a vessel that you need to get you to

PLEASURE'S EDGE

but the

NERVE

 to take the first step

walk in

and

SWIM."

But

"I DON'T KNOW HOW.

I'LL DROWN."

I BArgain and insist and beg,

"CAN'T I JUST

fly there

DRIFT SLOWLY

the safest way

I KNOW HOW

on the

WIngs of my DReaMS?"

"Your FANCY has brought you to the shore of your

IMAGINATION

but

MUSCLE

is necessary now because

in order to reach destinations

UNIMAGINABLE."

The CRASHING WAVES of

difficulty resound that I am

UNABLE.

while a still voice on distant shores whispers

"God does not call the able.

HE ENABLES THE CALLED."

-unknown.

COME...
there is

a feast of rejoicing waiting for

you.

But first...

You've Got a Phone Call.

~Show doN't Tell~

How do you find the right words in order

to show

and not

tell what is in

your heart?

Sparkling moments

can change a person's life

by one fragrant sentence

or a kind action.

We are ALL creative at different levels

but do we know our potential?

Find a quiet spot

and think about the

daily choices

you make

to

make someone's day

more beautiful.

OBSERVE

the dance of your everyday comings and goings.

Did you EMPOWER someone or YOURSELF

TODAY?

call a new friend across the country

or call an old friend

across town.

Let what you practice

and express

formulate a transparent

surface

through which the depths of your heart

reveal a

Sparkling Moment

that can change the world.

What Color Do You Hear?

Take a box of crayons

or a child's stick of chalk

crank up your favorite music

and listen with your

EYES.

What colors do you hear?

SYNESTHESIA

  is the

MAGIC

that happens in the brain

when one type of stimulus

such as a certain color

produces a secondary

sensation

such as a specific smell

or taste sensation.

so LISTEN

and COLOR in

the MUSIC.

Does the deep, rich sound of the cello
LOOK like a CHOCOLATE BROWNIE?
PAINT IT.

Do the light tunes of your youth

bring sweet memories to your palate?

COLOR IT!

Do the sophisticated sounds of your

maturity

look like

a Paris fashion statement?

get out the water colours and

MAKE IT HAPPEN.

What would the chaotic order of JAZZ look like

or would Chopin's NOCTURNE evoke the sparkle of

moonlight?

Bring out the GLITTER.

Could Stravinsky's EXPLOSIVE

THE RITE OF SPRING

inspire

you

to produce your next masterpiece on that intimidating

empty canvas or page?

 If you

simply can't fathom the layers of

possibility

source

THEN STRETCH YOUR IMAGINATION

because
